Because of the current circumstance related to Covid-19, we needed to delay our opening. In Sicily, and all over the world, we are experiencing something hard to believe. For the safety of our future guests, staff and ourselves, we are all strictly following our Government’s advice. We still do not know for our long it will last. However, we would love to think that it will not last for long and that we all together will go through it. We hope to be able soon to sunbathing on the wonderful bays of Isola Bella and Mazzarò and walking around Castelmola street and Naxos promenade. We hope we will soon be able to give you our warm and happy welcome as Sicilians do.
Hoping to have you soon as our guests, Hotel Villa Sonia and The Staff wish you all the best. We want to send a warm hug to those who are fighting against Covid-19. A special thank goes to those who are working hard right now for us and our future.
We are constantly updated about the situation, please do not hesitate to contact us for assistance and information about booking.
See you soon!
Everything’s Gonna Be Alright…
The Important Thing For Our Guests Is Not To Be In A Hurry To Enjoy All The Beauty Of Sicily...
Our idea is that of letting clients enjoy their holiday with a slow rhythm in contact with nature, such as proposing a day-trip by jeep to the beautiful and nearby Etna or a trekking excursion that allows them to enjoy the splendid countryside beauty of the Alcantara Gorge. Furthermore, in just a few hours you can enjoy a naturalistic excursion on the back of donkeys which go up to the summit of Mount Venere and from which you can enjoy one of the most beautiful panoramas in the world.
In a day, clients can visit Syracuse or Piazza Armerina where you can clearly see the historical dominations of the Sicilian Island among ancient theatres and residences or you can visit nearby Savoca which was the backdrop for one of the greatest cinema works... “The Godfather”.
Hotel Villa Sonia urges travellers to stop and savour the flavours and fragrances by also organizing parties (Beginning of Summer or Wine-Harvest) thus allowing them to live the experiences and emotions that cannot be captured in a photograph but only in memories.
